Those looking for job security and permanency should go for government jobs and generally the most important criteria for selecting a job is job stability so government job is the best bet. On the other hand retirement benefits offered in such jobs also acts as bonus. In fact a government job also comes with a host of other perquisites.

That looking for high pay scale and greater job responsibility with scope of going up the ladder quickly then private job seems to be the best bet. The job in private sector are also more testing and demanding than the government job, so this could also be the key driving force for an individual who likes accepting challenging job. In fact in private jobs perquisites offered also not less than that of the government job. There is more recognition in this sector. Those craving for fame to can also go for this kind of a job as there are higher acceptability and motivation in this sector.
